Correy Thomas brings over 25 years of professional experience in Information Technology. He is responsible for several initiatives within the Treasury Department involving Capital Planning and Investments Management.
Prior to joining The Department of Treasury, Correy served 15 years at the Department of Defense, in a number of capacities including Deputy Chief Information Officer, for Knowledge Management, the Director of Executive Services, Senior Advisor for the Military Health Care Reform, and Director of Information Technology. Correy provided policy, direction, standards, enforcement, and oversight for enterprise Common Information Technology (CIT) activities. Correy ensured that CIT concepts, architectures, implementations, and services were consistent with Federal guidance, DoD directives, strategic goals, and department-wide programs for the office of Personnel and Readiness and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Prior to joining Federal Civilian Service, Correy proudly served in the U.S Navy as an Information Technology Specialist at the Chief Naval Operations, Pentagon and other Commands serving in the areas of Information Technology and Warfare Operations.
Correy holds a Master of Science in Administration and Information Resource Management from Central Michigan University.
